Audio Journaling to Take Back Control ✌
Covid has hit everybody like a tonne of bricks, though our circumstances all differ, a global pandemic is universal in the sense that inhibits everybody’s sense of control. 🙇♂️
There is a great tendency during these testing times to live in the future, planning for a life beyond covid. With end dates uncertain, and anxieties high, it is crucial to embrace the here and now. 🙌
It may not be ideal, but it is a matter of compromise. Take out your phone and record an audio entry focusing on what you can’t control and what you can.
For example, let’s say you don’t love working from home. The thing you can’t control is that remote working is our reality for now and it doesn’t have an end date. But, while it lasts, you can definitely make it more enjoyable. 🚴♀️
For example, how can you make your workspace more enjoyable and comfortable? If you’re missing the social component, what can you do to interact with more humans? You can set coffee dates, walks with your neighbours, or find cool events in your area. ☕ 🎨
This technique works for any other situation in which you feel you’re in a limbo. 🔒 Through focusing on the power of now you’ll be able to gain momentum and evade negative spirals! 🌪

Ask yourself. What are the things you did this week that gave you joy? What are the ones that helped you with your goals? And which ones were a total waste of time?
