Personal Bio: Like many people, I started my college career thinking I wanted to do one thing - and then decided to do another. The change of course wasn't easy and added to my years of study.  Deciding to become a Registered Dietitian is a major undertaking, with a course load similar to those studying to become a doctor. Lots of science. A whole lot of of science, but it's actually quite important. If you want to make changes about how you eat, which to me means making changes to how you live, I think it's smart to work with someone that has received extensive training, someone you can relate to and someone who can give you practical advice based on science.
