Weâre glad you're here again! Today we will focus on the present day effects of what youâve experienced to see what thoughts and feelings linger from your traumatic experience. Just press record in your Journify app when you're ready.
We will start by focusing on the impact of this traumatic event in your body. When you think about it, where do you feel the most tension? Do you feel pressure on your chest? Take deep breaths if you need to.
Do you sometimes feel like this traumatic event could happen again? Why do you think is that?
Do you feel anger, resentment or other feelings towards the person, experience or situation that caused you to feel this way? Try to explain these feelings in detail.
Is there a scenario or something you're waiting to happen so that you can let those feelings in the past? How likely is that to happen?
Do you think this prevents you from experiencing intense joy in your present life? If so, how do you think you could change that?
