Audio Journaling to Revisit Happy Places 🌴
Scrapbooking has been a huge phenomenon over the last few decades. And it is no wonder why. What captures the moment better than revisiting the moment itself? 🔖
The perfect way to return to your happy place can be via listening to audio recordings of your cherished memories. 🔊
When you’re in a place you love, open up your app and record your surroundings🤳. What you see, who you’re with, what you can smell, what your food tastes like, record the beat of the songs in the beach bar 400m away. 🏖 🍍
Document all 5 senses in order to tap into your particular nostalgia triggers. It can be much more intimate to hear yourself animated, part of a soundscape, capturing how or even who you were at that time. 🕰
Keeping a travel diary has never been so easy, nor so unfiltered.

We all have our inner ostrich. There are situations or truths about ourselves that we simply don’t want to face or admit, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes, when we need to achieve a goal or keep moving in the moment, it’s okay to set some things aside and not dig too deep.
Psychiatric reports do however reveal that listing your concerns and estimating the likelihood of them occurring is a useful tool for lowering anxiety levels.
It helps us to kiss goodbye to the inhibiting perfectionist many of us possess - blurting out random thoughts may seem sloppy but it helps with our flow and helps us to develop a stronger sense of voice.

Ask yourself. What are the things you did this week that gave you joy? What are the ones that helped you with your goals? And which ones were a total waste of time?
